Abstract
The interaction of the strong Lewis acids, aluminum chloride or niobium pen taflouride, with several different lithium salts produces materials that ex hibit substantial ionic conductivity. This result is attributed to signific ant charge delocalization in the Lewis acid complex with the anion and the formation of complex non-crystalline materials. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B .V.
