Abstract
A series of single ion conducting aluminate polymer electrolytes were synth esized and their blends with poly(ether)s characterized. A great improvemen t of mechanical properties and processability was obtained upon blending wi th poly(ethylene oxide) or an ethylene oxide-propylene oxide copolymer. Enh ancement of the ionic conductivity of blended polymer electrolytes was obse rved by adding LiCF3SO3 and cationic transference numbers were determined t o be about 0.56.
