Renomedullary interstitial cell tumor

Renomedullary interstitial cell tumor was first introduced by Lerman and co -workers. These lesions have been referred to as medullary fibromas. The ul trastructural studies showed that the spindle cells throughout the stroma h ave the features of medullary interstitial cells. These benign tumors with specific histology are rare since they are incidental findings at autopsies . We report here a case of renomedullary interstitial cell tumor in a 55-ye ar-old woman.
