Abstract
Solvothermal reaction of K2M'Cl-4 (M' = Pd, Pt) with pyridine dicarboxylate and excess base produces isostructural coordination solids in which 'compl ex ligands' containing palladium or platinum coordinate to metal hydroxide chains.
