Abstract
In this paper we study the longitudinal heat conduction effects on the classical problem of forced laminar convection from a flat plate with an uniform temperature on the opposite surface. We found that small b ut noticeable differences when including the longitudinal heal conduct ion through the wall for the thermally thin wall regime as compared wi th the thermally thick wall regime solution.
