Abstract
This paper presents a novel method to optimize the transposition design for large current finding of power transformer. The multi-section quasiaxisymm etrical scheme is used for the magnetic field-electric circuit coupled anal ysis and circulating current calculation, The improved genetic algorithm co mbined with complex strategy is adopted to search the optimal design. The s atisfactory results are obtained with the method.
