Abstract
Two complete procedures, in duality, to take stranded inductors into accoun t in magnetic vector potential 3D finite element formulations, as well in m agnetostatics as in magnetodynamics, are developed. They are discussed and compared to other methods already developed. It is shown that the accuracy of determination of circuit relations associated with inductors depends on the consistency between considered weak and strong forms during the whole p rocess.
