Abstract
A polarographic method of determining yttrium is described. The method is b ased on the changes in the polarographic behaviour of the o-hydroxyazo dye, Arsenazo-I, in presence of yttrium. It is demonstrated that the method cou ld be applied for determination of yttrium in the superconducting oxide YBa 2Cu3Oy (y=6.5-7.0).
