Abstract
One useful strategy for establishing input-output stability is to seek cond itions on the system map so that a certain lower-bound condition is met. We show here that, for a large class of time-varying linear systems, the lowe r-bound condition for stability is in fact necessary. Copyright (C) 2000 Jo hn Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
