Abstract
The complexes of bivalent Pd and Pt with 6.aryl-3-cyano-4-trifluoromethylpy ridine-2(1H)-thione have been synthesized. IR and NMR investigations show t hat the thiones are bonded to the metal ion through the sulfur atom. The th iones and their complexes possess antimicrobial activities.
