Abstract
Szeged index is a newly introduced index whose use in developing structure- activity-property relationships is yet to be established. The present paper deals with its application in developing quantitative structure-activity r elationship (QSAR). The anti-inflammatory activity for a series of phenols is chosen for this purpose and the results are compared with those obtained from Wiener index.
