Abstract
A generic algorithm (GA) has been developed for designing single-shaped ref lector antennas for the synthesis of shaped contour beams. The graphical pr ocessing technique is used in order to obtain the antenna radiation pattern s very efficiently. Results comparing with the classical conjugate gradient are included to provide validation. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
