Abstract
The BELLE TOF system provides pi /K separation for particle momentum below 1.2 GeV/c. A novel Time Stretcher TDC scheme is used to measure flight time s with a 25 ps LSB in the high rate environment of KEKB. The TOF resolution is found to be 100 ps. The TOF system also provides precise event timing t o the BELLE trigger system. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reser ved.
