Abstract
The influence of fullerenes C-60 and C-70 On the absorption spectrum of 2-c yclooctylamino-5-nitropyridine (COANP) is studied. A substantial shift of t he absorption band edge of COANP-C-70 to the IR region was observed, This e ffect was compared with the data obtained for COANP-C-60. The experimental results were explained using the model that takes into account the interact ion between electronic subsystems of COANP and fullerene. (C) 2000 MAIK "Na uka/Interperiodica".
