Abstract
Using different reduction conditions Pd powders have been prepared and char acterized by chemisorption and TPO (Temperature Programmed Oxidation) measu rements. The amount of carbon deposits introduced during preparation seems to be peculiar to the preparation procedure. The O-2 consumption curves att ributed to PdO formation have shown two peak minima suggesting strong diffe rences in the accessibility of Pd particles.
