Abstract
A simple procedure was developed for the synthesis of previously unknown ph ospholipids, including those containing a cationic moiety. These phospholip ids are glycerol esters derived from alkylphosphonamidic aicd. The procedur e is based on the alkylation of accessible 1,3,2-oxazaphospholanes accordin g to Arbuzov, followed by aminolysis of intermediate N-(2-haloethyl)alkylph osphonamidates.
