Abstract
Pentafluoropyridine reacts with primary, secondary, and tertiary phosphines or their trimethylsilyl analogs under mild conditions without a catalyst t o afford new pi -acceptor organophosphorus ligands containing one, two, or three tetrafluoropyridyl groups on the phosphorus atom.
