Abstract
SrFeCo0.5O3.25+delta(SFC) ultrafine powders with appropriate dispersibility and sintering properties were synthesized by glycine-nitrate-process (GNP) method and used for the preparation of oxygen permeation membrane. Compare d with those of SFC membranes synthesized by conventional solid-state react ion method, the phase structure, microstructure, conductivity and oxygen pe rmeation properties of the SrFeCo0.5O3.25+delta ceramic membrane material w ere studied. The results revealed that the SrFeCo0.5 O3.25+delta system mai nly consisted of perovskite and layered phases, Its oxygen permeation flux is about 1.2 x 10(-8) mol.cm(-2).s(-1) in air/helium gradient at 950 degree sC, which is higher than that of sample prepared by solid-state reaction me thod.
