Abstract
Chronic esophagitis dissecans superficialis is a rare form of chronic esoph agitis producing esophageal cast. Its clinical and histopathologic features have recently been defined. We present a 78-year-old patient with chronic esophagitis dissecans associated with esophageal strictures. The clinical a nd pathologic features of chronic esophagitis dissecans superficialis are r eviewed.
