Abstract
Mercuration of 2-mercapto-5-methylpyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline has been carried out under microwave irradiation in open vessels using a domestic microwave oven as well as in a conventional way and the synthesized 2-(arylmercurith io)-5-methylpyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline compounds have been screened for their fungicidal activity.
