Symmetrical two-dimensional coupled laser arrays in which lasers are placed
on the apices and center of an equilateral polygon are proposed for obtain
ing a number of synchronized chaotic signals. Numerical simulations for cen
tered triangular arrays are conducted and the synchronized chaos of three l
asers on the spices (satellite lasers) is observed. The central-satellite c
oupling is more important than the satellite-satellite coupling for the syn
chronized chaos of all satellite lasers.
