Abstract
We give an introduction to inelastic neutron scattering and the dynamic sca
ttering function for magnetic nanoparticles. Differences between ferromagne
tic and antiferromagnetic nanoparticles are discussed and we give a review
of recent results on ferromagnetic Fe nanoparticles and canted antiferromag
