Abstract
Three cycloartane triterpenes, cyclopassifloic acids E (1), F (2); and G (3
), and their saponins, cyclopassiflosides VII (4), VIII (5), IX (6), X (7),
and XI (8), were isolated from the leaf and stem parts of Passiflora eduli
s. The structures of 1-8 were elucidated on the basis of extensive NMR expe
riments and by chemical methods.
