Abstract
A new iridoid glucoside, 5 beta ,6 beta -dihydroxyboschnaloside (1), was is olated from the aerial parts of Euphrasia pectinata. Five known iridoid glu cosides, 6 beta -hydroxyboschnaloside (2), aucubin, euphroside, plantarenal oside, and geniposidic acid, and two known phenylethanoid glycosides, verba scoside (= acteoside) and leucosceptoside A, were also obtained and charact erized. The structure of compound 1 was established by spectroscopic eviden ce.
