Abstract
Conductance behavior of lithium soaps (abietate, oleate, and myristate) has been used to evaluate the true dissociation constant, limiting molar condu ctance, and thermodynamic parameters (viz., enthalpy, free energy, and entr opy changes) for dissociation. The soaps behave as weak electrolytes in mix tures, and the Debye-Huckel-Onsagar equation is not applicable for these so ap solutions.
