Many digital equalization methods for loudspeaker systems have been propose
d in the literature. However, a number of these do not equalize the low-fre
quency components effectively. A new method is proposed, which involves the
incorporation of a warped filter into the conventional equalization design
. Computer simulation results show that the proposed method is able to impr
ove the performance of the equalized response at low frequencies while main
taining that at higher frequencies.
