Temperature dependence of critical current in Nb3Al/Cu multifilamentar
y strands fabricated by Jelly-roll process has been measured to establ
ish data base for fusion magnet design. The measurements are performed
in the temperature range of 4.2 to 16 K and in the magnetic field ran
ge of 0 to 16 T. From these data, we have produced empirical formulas
available for conductor design work.
