Abstract
The sequential rotation technique is used far the design of circularly pola rized (CP) dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) subarrays. Two configurations are considered. The first one employs linearly polar; ized (LP) DRA elemen ts whereas the other one uses CP DRA elements. The characteristics of the T wo configurations are compared and discussed. In the CP-element case, the p erformance of the the subarray is also compared with that of the single-ele ment configuration. (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
