YBaCuO rings with an outer diameter of about 20 mm were prepared by ti
le MTC method. Tile influence of cooling conditions and composition on
the structure and critical current density of the rings was investiga
ted. Tile interaction of the rings with frozen magnetic fluxes was exa
mined using a specially designed device having a force measurement sen
sitivity of 10(-8) N. The correlation between theoretical calculations
acid experimental data concerning the interaction of the rings is dis
cussed.
