SiTi(1-x)RuxO3 perovskite oxide compound exhibits different physical proper
ties depending on the x value and the temperature range. High electrical co
nductivity, ferromagnetism phenomena, piezoelectricity, and superconductivi
ty are currently properties found in this perovskite family. In this paper
we present a study of electronic conduction of this mixed perovskite in fun
ction of x and temperature by alternating conductivity technique. Pure SrTi
O3 is an insulating material that progresses to a conductive one as x incre
ases. The model used to explain this conductivity evolution is the random f
ree energy barrier model developed to explain transport phenomena in disord
ered materials. Disorder in this perovskite is supported by diffraction stu
dies that evidenced slight delocalizations of oxygen atoms in the lattice,
added due to random substitutions of Ti4+ by Ru4+.
