Vp. Plakhty et al., Chiral critical exponents of the triangular-lattice antiferromagnet CsMnBr3 as determined by polarized neutron scattering, PHYS REV L, 85(18), 2000, pp. 3942-3945
The critical exponents gamma (c) = 0.84(7) of the chiral susceptibility abo
ve the Neel temperature, T-N, and beta (c) = 0.44(2) of the average chirali
ty below T-N have been determined for the triangular-lattice antiferromagne
t CsMnBr3 by means of polarized neutron scattering. These first experimenta
l values of chiral critical exponents are in line with theoretical predicti
ons and fulfill their scaling relation. The temperature at which the averag
e chirality appears coincides with the spin-order transition temperature, T
-N.
