Abstract
The first case of mycotic aneurysm of aorta by Aspergillus in a patient wit h heart transplantation is described, in which the infection was produced b y direct surgical contamination of the aortic suture. The period of latency was of eight months. The unusualness of the case and its diagnostic diffic ulties, are is commented.
