Abstract
The Rayleigh-Ritz variational method is used with a multiconfiguration-inte raction function and restricted variation method to obtain the energies of 2p(2) np S-4 degrees>(*) over bar * (n = 2-4) and 1s2pmp P-4(m = 2,3) in li thium-like ions,including the mass polarization and relativistic correction s. Oscillator strengths, transition rates,lifetimes and wavelengths are als o calculated. The results are compared with other theoretical and experimen t data in the literature.
