Abstract
Taking into account the exchange interaction in the ferromagnet and the int erface scattering effect, within Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk scattering formal ism, we have calculated the quasiparticle transport coefficients and the tu nneling spectrum in the ferromagnet-insulator-d wave superconductor junctio n. It is found that the ferromagnetic exchange interaction can suppress the Andreev reflection, and consequently the Andreev reflected quasiparticle s hows an evanescent-wave behavior depending on the injection angle of the qu asiparticle. The tunneling spectrum exhibits some novel features.
