The issue of violence and aggression towards healthcare personnel has recei ved increasing attention over recent years. Surveys indicate that such beha viour does occur in both hospital and community dental settings, although i n comparison, many other healthcare workers appear to be at greater risk. I nformation and advice to prevent and manage such situations, should they oc cur, are available.
