Abstract
The objective of this paper is to describe a new method to ensure accurate placement of a ventriculo-atrial shunt distal catheter. A technique is desc ribed using pressure waveform changes within the right side of the heart. P ressure monitoring is a new method of placing atrial catheters and is easy to perform.
