Abstract
Four species of the genus Streptosyllis from the Canary Islands are reporte d and described: S. bidentata, S. websteri, S. templadoi and S. campoyi n. sp. The new species is characterized by compound setae with falcate teeth a nd a unique distribution of the enlarged aciculae. The species S. templadoi is a new record to the Atlantic, and S, bidentata and S. websteri are newl y recorded from the Canary Islands. Original drawings of these species are provided, as well as data on their autoecology. A key to the species of Str eptosyllis from the Canary Islands is provided.
