Abstract
A new SO42-/ZrO2/MCM-41 superacid catalyst has been successfully synthesize d and is ca. 2.5-3 times more active than the conventional SO42-/ZrO2 super acid catalyst for MTBE synthesis and n-pentane isomerization.
