Abstract
A pentameric thymidyl pyrrolidine-amide oligonucleotide mimic (POM) was syn thesised and shown to bind with very high affinity to complementary single stranded RNA and DNA, whilst exhibiting kinetic binding selectivity for RNA over DNA.
