Abstract
Benzylcyanoborane adducts of several amines were prepared in four steps fro m toluene, their enantiomers were separated using chiral phase HPLC and an S(N)2 pathway was evidenced in the reaction of a trimethylamine-derived ena ntiomer with pyridine.
