Abstract
Up-conversion of 248-nm emission via stimulated anti-Stokes Raman scatterin g in the active medium of the KrF laser has been investigated theoretically . The conditions have been estimated under which the radiative coupling of the ionic B, Rydberg E, and covalent X states of KrF yields coherent emissi on in the 120-nm spectral range.
