Abstract
Poly[2-(9',9'-dihexyIfluorenyl)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (DHF-PPV), which con tains 9,9-dihexylfluorene as a pendant group, was synthesized by the modifi ed Gilch polymerization of the corresponding bischloromethyl-substituted be nzene monomer. Light emitting device fabricated with DHF-PPV showed high el ectroluminescence efficiency with low turn-on voltage.
