Abstract
By using soluble chitosan (1R)-(-)-10-camphorsulfonate salt (chitosan-CSA), N,O-acylated chitosans were prepared in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) with cyc lic acid anhydride under homogeneous conditions.
