Abstract
This paper focuses on the design of distributed control related to distribu ted mechanical systems. Sensors and actuators are assumed to be numerous an d periodically distributed. The problem addressed in this paper is: "Can we find a way to approximate an optimal control law with a distributed electr onic circuit?" A solution to this problem is proposed in the framework of v ibration control of a thin plate using piezoelectric actuators and sensors.
