Abstract
The method used for the field measurements of the carbon dioxide efflux fro m the soil or woody-tissues is described in this paper. According to the pr esented formula, some results are indicated about respiration measurements performed during one day in August 98, on the study site. The CO2 efflux fr om the soil was estimated to he 448 mmol CO(2)m(-2)d(-1) while the stem res piration was of 56 mmol CO2 m(-2)d(-1) and branch respiration of 70 mmol CO (2)m(-2)d(-1).
