Abstract
This contribution is devoted to judging of Tilia cordata M i l l. and Acer pseudoplatanus L. accumulation qualities. Especially were observed amounts of accumulated heavy metals in branches and leaves. Results of analyses, ob tained from seedlings of these tree species planted oil calamity cleared ar eas after secondary spruce forests of private forests at the village Nalepk ovo (Slovenske rudohoric Mts), confirmed the most suitable qualities of Til ia cordata before Acer pseudoplatanus. The highest amounts of heavy metals are laid in woody parts at this tree species. Leaf litter does not cause re peated accumulation of pollutants in soil.
