Abstract
Calculated neutron fission cross sections in good agreement with the e xisting experimental data have been obtained for Pu-242 applying a num ber of methods developed before for Pu-239. Thus more accurate theoret ical data have been obtained, proving at the same time the adequacy of these methods for different types of isotopes. (C) 1997 Elsevier Scie nce Ltd.
