Experimental results from a classical Faraday experiment have been obtained
using a point-localized measurement of the displacement of the fluid surfa
ce. We used a capacitive transducer as probe, and have been able to study t
he period-doubling bifurcations in time domain through the determination of
cross-correlation and power spectrum.
