Abstract
This paper addresses the robust H-2 control design of complex nonlinear sys tems which can be represented by a fuzzy dynamic model. Based on a continuo us Lyapunov function and a piecewise continuous Lyapunov function respectiv ely, two kinds of new control design methods are proposed using Lyapunov st ability theory, robust H-2 control theory and Linear Matrix Inequalities (L MI) techniques. It is shown that the closed loop fuzzy control system is as ymptotically stable with a white noise attenuation. The robust H-2 fuzzy co ntroller can be obtained by using the LMI techniques. An example is given t o demonstrate the application of the proposed design methods.
