Abstract
Measurements of the triply differential cross section (TDCS) for double pho toionization of Ca are presented, in a photon energy region away from any r esonant structure. The data differ markedly from similar data for He. An at tempt has been made to measure the ratio of the TDCS at resonant and non-re sonant photon energies of 31.41 and 43.03 eV respectively and a ratio of (3 800 +/- 2100) : 1 was obtained.
